Animal Medical CenterVeterinary Emergencies
We hope your pet never needs emergency vet care, but if the unexpected does happen, we will do our best to help you through this difficult time.
After-Hours Emergency Number: (770) 386-4444
Call the after-hours emergency number to discuss your pet’s emergency with a doctor. You will receive guidance and possible care instructions. Many times what appears to be an emergency may not be a life-threatening event—just talking with the veterinarian and getting proper medical instructions may ease your mind until your pet can be seen during regular business hours.
If the veterinarian on call feels your pet may have a life-threatening medical illness or injury, you may be instructed to take your pet to a 24-hour care veterinary facility within our area. These facilities are staffed throughout the night and on holidays to give critically sick and injured animals the best of care.
We recommend the Cobb Emergency Veterinary Clinic and Cherokee Emergency Veterinary Clinic for after-hour emergencies:
